NITIVY ALFTM is Boron-free Alumina-Silica fiber that is developed for extremely high temperature applications.
Unlike other heat resistance fibers, such as RCF and AES, NITIVY ALFTM does not require the aid of reinforcements in the usage in any forms that enable ALFTM to retain superior strength or flexibility. More importantly, there is no emission after heat cleaned, even in high temperatures.
NITIVY ALFTM, boron free continuous alumina silica fibers, retains its strength and flexibility up to 2,282F in continuous usage and chemically stable – resistant to most acid and metals, also has good electrical insulation properties at both room and elevated temperatures. There is a growing interest in ALFTM in a wide range of applications which require high temperature operation environments. |
- Excellent heat resistant properties.
- Fine filament diameter of 7micron.
- Superior flexibility.
- High tensile strength and modulus.
- Resists corrosion.
- Superior electrical insulation properties.
- Does not absorb moisture.
- Does not contain Boron.

1.Steel manufacturing
Various materials among ALF products, especially woven fabrics, have been in continuous annealing furnace. ALF woven fabrics stop the falling of particles coming out from RCF insulations, which cause product defections. |
|
|
2.Tempered glass manufacturing
ALF braided sleeving has been used in tempered glass furnaces as a roller covering, which prevents product defections. |
|
|
3.Semiconductor manufacturing
Because of containing no boron, Discs and Collars made of ALF woven fabrics or braided sleeving, generate no emission in elevated temperatures. Thus, almost all Discs and Collars in Japan are made of ALF due to its traits of cleanness. |
|
|
4.Isolation materials for thermo-couples and cables
Because of ALF’s superior heat resistance properties, ALF can be used as electrical isolation fiber materials of cables used in elevated temperatures. |
